Most product blogs exist to be indexed. Ours exists because we have things to say that don’t fit into a landing page, and because a private social app benefits from a public, honest record of how it thinks.

We’ll write about the philosophy behind AnuChat — why ephemerality is a feature and not a limitation, why we deliberately don’t measure engagement, and why routing you back to Signal or iMessage instead of building our own inbox was the right call even though it’s a strange thing for a “social app” to do.

We’ll also write about the harder trade-offs: what privacy actually means when your friends’ devices are part of the system, what we won’t promise, and where the edges of “secure” really are.

Nothing here will be optimized for time-on-page. If a post is short, that’s because the idea was short. If we’re wrong about something, we’ll say that too.
